Lions and Lioness Club in Ipoh organised a Peace Poster Contest.
The Peace Poster Contest was an annual event, and year 1997-1998, 90% of the clubs in the district got involved, either on their own or teaming up with others. DC for Peace Poster David requested clubs to submit the posters to the district for final judging, and the top three would go on to compete internationally at LCI.
I encouraged the participating Lions clubs to hand out local prizes to motivate the students. In Ipoh, Lions and Lioness Club of Ipoh teamed up, bringing in over 150 students, which was amazing! I was thrilled with the turnout, and the dedicated Lions really put in the effort. The students showcased their creativity and imagined a peaceful world.
