On 9th August, 1997, Lucy and I drove to Ipoh to attend the Installation Ceremony of the Lioness Club of Ipoh. Lioness Hon Wai Yee was elected President and I was invited to install Wai Yee and her Board of Directors. Decorum and good grace were the hallmarks of these Lionesses. There were only five Lioness clubs in the district at the time but these clubs could hold their own against even more established Lions Clubs.
